Myths about prophets.

All prophets are to foretell of future events or perform a miracle.

What a prophet says has to be found in the bible.

Prophets are fascinated with crosses.

Prophets have to confess the name Jesus on a personal level.

ThereĀ are Christian church prophets and the secular prophets.

True prophets aren’t often rejected.

Prophets won’t disagree with pre-standing leaders of your local church.

True prophets don’t suffer or aren’t persecuted or killed because no evilĀ prevails against the church of God.

True prophets aren’t lonely wonderers.

The last prophet was Malachi or Jesus.

Prophets are only male.

Prophets do not sin so they have no need to repent.

Prophets always bring a message of peace.

Prophets have to perform 3 miracles or more.

True prophets must have a good reputation.

There are old testament and new testament prophets.

Prophets don’t bring accusation of sin. To call a people to repent.

True prophet must aline with accepted morals.

True prophets don’t get frustrated, overwhelmed or angry.

If the prophet has 2 or 3 witnesses he is a prophet. Than he is a true prophet.

Prophets do not stay more than 2 days.

There’s only 2 types of prophets.

Prophets do not speak against the government.

The Word of God by the prophets does not cause division amongst the people.

Prophets do not judge/ judgmental.

Prophets are not raised up from other religions or cultures.

True prophets have to love the roman cross as a sacrament.

True prophets will confess that Jesus is God the Creator.

True prophets are not in spiritual warfare.

The true prophets message doesn’t hurt and is not offensive to your beliefs.

Prophets only operate when the people are in high worship and praise.

you can only become a prophet if hands are laid on you by other ministers.

True prophets are never alone.

There’s only one prophet at a time for the world.

Prophecy means to bubble up and inspire.

Preaching and teaching are preplanned but prophecy is not.

A true prophet doesn’t get tested.

In a vision a true prophet will not breath and collapse.

A true prophet must have superhuman strength.

A true prophet will have perfect health at all times.

A true prophet knows salvation starts with Acts.2:38 for all nations to be saved.

Prophets proclaim the the date/time of Jesus return.
